HARBOR SCIENCE AND ARTS CHARTER SCHOOL

 Each year, Harbor Science and Arts Charter School continues to move forward in becoming a school of excellence. The goal of the school is to provide an exemplary education to the students of East Harlem and the surrounding communities.

Harbor Charter Parents:

The 2^nd Annual Harbor Charter Walkathon is scheduled for Saturday, November 14^th. Invite all your friends and family to support and raise money for OUR school. Last year, we raised over $4000. Let's beat that!

As a school, we will meet in the 4^th floor cafeteria at 10 a.m. that morning and walk as a group 2 miles around Central Park to support our mission for health and wellness. The students will have an opportunity to make signs to represent our school during the walk.

All students will be given pledge sheets (see the link to the right) to get sponsors for their participation to raise additional funds for the school. The student with the highest amount raised will receive a prize.

Participation Fees for Walkathon:

Adults - $10.00

Children under 14 - $5.00

All registered participants will receive a t-shirt or baseball hat that will have the Harbor Charter name on it. Pre-register/payment/pledge sheet funds can be given to Ms. Bommarito in room 601A — 212-427-2244 x439.

Our hope is to have our Harbor Charter School Community unite as one to work together to support all the great things that are going on at OUR school.
